Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy applies to the premium subscription of WAT-PI Prep available at watpiprep.com. We strive to ensure customer satisfaction and have outlined clear refund terms below.

2. Premium Subscription Details

  • Price: ₹299 (one-time payment)
  • Validity: Until April 2026
  • Payment Method: Razorpay (Credit/Debit Card, UPI, Net Banking)
  • Access: Immediate upon successful payment

3. Refund Eligibility

3.1 Technical Issues

If you experience technical issues that prevent you from accessing the Service, you may be eligible for a refund, provided:

  • You report the issue to us at support@watpiprep.com
  • We are unable to resolve the issue within 5 business days
  • The issue is on our end and not related to your device or internet connection

3.2 Duplicate Payments

If you are accidentally charged multiple times for the same subscription, we will refund the duplicate payment(s) in full.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be granted in the following cases:

  • Change of mind: General change of mind or no longer needing the Service
  • Content expectations: If the content does not meet your personal expectations
  • Account violations: If your account was terminated due to Terms of Service violations
  • Failed exam/interview: Refunds are not based on interview or admission outcomes
  • Service delivered: Once you have gained access to premium features and content
  • External factors: Issues related to your device, internet connection, or third-party services

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Send an Email

Email us at support@watpiprep.com with the subject line: "Refund Request"

Step 2: Include Details

  • Your registered email address
  • Order ID / Payment ID (from Razorpay)
  • Date of purchase
  • Reason for refund request

Step 3: Wait for Response

We will review your request and respond within 2 business days.

6. Refund Processing

6.1 Approval

Once your refund request is approved:

  • We will initiate the refund within 2 business days
  • Your premium access will be revoked immediately
  • You will receive a confirmation email

6.2 Timeline

Refund processing times vary by payment method:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days
  • UPI: 3-7 business days
  • Net Banking: 5-10 business days
  • Wallets: 3-7 business days

Note: The timeline depends on your bank/payment provider. Razorpay processes refunds on our behalf.

6.3 Refund Method

Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used during purchase. We cannot refund to a different account or payment method.

7. Partial Refunds

We do not offer partial refunds. The subscription is a one-time payment for full access until April 2026, and refunds are either granted in full or not at all based on eligibility criteria.

8. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or payment provider without contacting us first:

  • Your account will be immediately suspended
  • We will provide evidence of service delivery to your payment provider
  • Future purchases may be blocked

Please contact us at support@watpiprep.com before initiating a chargeback so we can resolve the issue directly.

9. Cancellation Policy

Since the premium subscription is a one-time payment with no recurring billing, there is no subscription to cancel. However:

  • You can request account deletion at any time
  • Deleting your account does NOT automatically entitle you to a refund
  • Your access remains active until April 2026 even if you delete your account

11. Changes to Refund Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. The refund policy applicable at the time of your purchase will govern your transaction.

12. Governing Law

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of India and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
